installing motion-sensor lights at every entrance, and getting a guard dog. If there is some money investing in a home security system is a great idea, especially one already connected to 911.
SOCIAL MEDIA DO'S AND DON'TS
If your loved one has social media accounts, have her make them private or delete them altogether. She should tell her friends and close relatives not to tag her in any photos or check her in at any locations, and she should disable those
features on all accounts as well. She should also never accept a friend or follow a request from anyone she doesn't know.
GET SOME HELP
You and other friends may be loving shoulders to cry on, but that doesn't mean your loved one couldn't benefit from talking to a counselor or therapist about what she went through.
Let your loved one know she has nothing to feel ashamed of and that there are people waiting to help should she need to reach out.
